My name is Tanya Leverette, I am the Founder/CEO of enChanted Princess Castle. I have over 20 years of experience in Social Work. As a graduate of Grambling State University with master’s degrees in Social Work and Criminal Justice, I envisioned a play experience that would address the needs of social and emotional learning. enChanted Princess Castle provides an exceptional party experience all while fostering effective communication and social skills. enChanted Princess Castle allows Princesses to enhance critical thinking and fine motor skills, create confidence and inspire creativity. Exploration and curiosity are encouraged while the Princesses engage with one another; this guides the formation of intellectual development and cognitive processing.

 

I continue to serve my community as a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In 2000, I packed up all my belongings and moved from Louisiana to Georgia in hopes of continuing my career in Social Work. I have been able to use my knowledge and skills working as a Psychiatric Social Worker, a Case Manager with the Department of Family and Children Services, a Hospice Social Worker and currently serving children for over 13 years as a School Social Worker.
